Social Justice

The United States was founded on a vision that all people have an inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  This nation’s history and the history of the world have been filled with struggles to realize this vision for every person by ending practices of injustice, discrimination, economic deprivation and prejudice.  These struggles continue today.

The Deutsch Foundation offers this section of the website as a place to find information, analysis, insight and inspiration from the ideas and examples of practitioners who are building on past victories of others and sustaining organizations and movements that promote greater social justice.
